The Dejima Vaccine Research and Development Center (VRDC) at Nagasaki University participated in BioJapan2024, Asia’s largest partnering event, held from October 9 to 11, 2024, at Pacifico Yokohama.
As a world-leading research and development hub for vaccine development under AMED SCARDA, our center exhibited alongside four other partner institutions. At our booth, we presented an overview of our center, our research achievements, and our future prospects. We engaged with visitors directly, explaining how our research contributes to infectious disease control in practical terms.
Additionally, Professor Atsuo Yamanaka, our program manager, gave presentations over the three days of the event, attracting significant interest. Many attendees participated in these sessions, and we were pleased to share our insights with them.
During the exhibition, we had valuable opportunities to connect with researchers and companies from both Japan and abroad, fostering discussions on research advancements and potential new partnerships. We are committed to accelerating our research and technology development in critical areas such as infectious disease control, aiming to achieve results that can make a meaningful contribution to society.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who visited our booth.
