DIDA VRDC will host an infectious disease-themed event for children during the summer vacation.
This time, the theme is malaria! Through fun and easy-to-understand posters, children can learn about malaria — an infectious disease — as well as the medicines and vaccines used to treat it
After viewing the poster, children can take on a quiz challenge! Children who complete the quiz will receive an original acrylic keychain featuring anthropomorphized characters representing vaccines and other treatments. (Limited to elementary school-aged children and younger. Distribution will end once supplies run out.)
The poster includes multiple QR codes that link to detailed information about malaria research conducted at Nagasaki University, making the event enjoyable for parents as well.
